Startup World is an initiative to promote startups, entrepreneurship and technology. The project consists of workshops on how to write a business plan or investment study and enter the world of entrepreneurship.

Startup World workshops

Participants are most often young people who show an interest in entrepreneurship. Business plans or investment studies with the most potential can be presented to potential investors with consent.

The focus on planning gives participants a way to organise their ideas and communicate them clearly. A business plan brings questions about an idea, its intended customers and the resources needed into one place. An investment study provides another way to examine the proposed venture.

From an idea to a business plan

Startup World introduces planning as part of entrepreneurial learning. Preparing a plan can help identify assumptions, questions and areas that require further investigation. Presenting an idea also requires explaining it to people who may have different experience or priorities.

The possibility of presenting selected plans does not guarantee investment or a commercial outcome. Any presentation arrangements and participation details should be confirmed directly with the club.
